Timeline & Scope
Hydria is a website designed for a foundation dedicated to the care, responsible use, and preservation of water. The main goal was to create a platform that clearly communicates the foundation’s mission, showcases the impact of its initiatives, and encourages community participation through donations, volunteering, and educational programs.
Context & Motivation
Water is a vital resource increasingly at risk due to climate change and misuse. Hydria needed a modern, trustworthy digital presence that could effectively spread its message, connect with partners and donors, and also serve as an educational platform for the general public.
Process & Workflow
- Content Definition
Core sections of the site included:- Foundation history
- Ongoing and future projects
- Team presentation
- Testimonials
- Opportunities for donations and volunteering
- Wireframes & Structure
Based on the initial wireframes (as shown in the reference), we built a simple, direct flow, prioritizing clear navigation and strong visual hierarchy to tell the story of the foundation and its initiatives. - Main Challenge
The key challenge was balancing institutional content with an engaging digital experience, avoiding a static or overly formal appearance. To solve this, we integrated flowing graphic elements inspired by water, authentic testimonials, and impactful photography.

Visual Design
The design was guided by an identity that conveys trust, freshness, and sustainability.
- Color Palette:
- Deep navy and turquoise tones to represent water and responsibility.
- White and light grays for clarity and readability.
- Brighter accent tones for calls-to-action and interactive elements.
- Design Principles:
- Minimalist approach with focus on storytelling.
- Wave-like shapes and water-inspired patterns to reinforce the theme.
- Integration of real imagery from the community, team, and projects.
Outcome & Impact
The final website successfully conveyed Hydria’s mission through a modern and trustworthy user experience. Its clarity and engaging design helped strengthen the foundation’s connection with the community while providing a solid digital channel for donations, partnerships, and long-term growth.
